paypal language issue

I opened up my new subscription site yesterday and have run into an unexpected problem.

Seeing as I live in Italy, I use paypal italiano. Unfortunately, whenever someone uses my amember script to make payment, they are forwarded to a page asking CC info and the like, all in Italian.

I have had four sign-ups and three who didn't because of this language issue. It's something I absolutely have to resolve TODAY!

What can I do? I have written to PayPal about it but was wondering if anyone here had the same problem. How to I get an English interface?

You could try passing in the "lc" and/or "country" variables with your button so that the customer sees a PayPal page designed for their location.

Possible values for "lc" include:
US (US English)
DE (German)
IT (Italian)
ES (Spanish)

The "country" variable can contain the 2-letter abbreviation for any PayPal supported country.

I discovered I had to just change my account's language settings to English from Italian, and subscribers to my site saw the payment page in English too.
