Chat software that doesn't show up when I am offline?

Hi I want to install a chat software for my website but I hate those We are offline now on the chat toolbar. If I am not available to chat, I don't want the chat toolbar to even show up so my visitors won't know that there is even chat available. Of course only when I am online then it will show up. Anyone knows of a software like that?

You can do this with LivePerson. They have javascript that will check before loading the click to chat image if you have an agent logged in. It seems to work fine. The only drawback is the image loads about 2 seconds after the page loads.

GotLiveChat can also do that. You can set your offline status to show an 'offline' image, or you can configure it to display nothing. The operator console is also web based; no local installation of software necessary.
