Alternatives to PayPal for Indians

I am a present PayPal user and I am quite satisfied although I do not like the fact that they use ordinary post to send checks. Now, is there any other way we Indians can receive payments from abroad other than the wire transfer method which is very costly. I think it costs $50 per transfer which is very expensive whereas PayPal charges only $5 per withdrawl. So are there any other alternative?

To be frank, if I pay $50 each month for the wire transfer, I would be losing 20% of my income.

Also, am I correct that wire transfer method costs $50 per transfer?

Just chareg $50 extra on top of your prices and then let your customer know you will "cut" $50 off if they wire the money. A lot of people do this - they raise their prices so that customers think they are getting a better deal. It is just marketing

Implement value oriented pricing strategy, you can be able to be with paypal itself as you're quite satisfied with them.
