Fourth day without an order--what would you check?

I've had a relatively good month for sales. However, from Saturday through today I've had absolutely nothing. I don't think I've ever gone four days without a sale.

I've checked the shopping cart by using a remote desktop service I subscribe to, and used different OS's and browsers, and the sale came through. Looked at the stats and the number of people going to the cart was the same, except nobody completed a sale.

I know that just about every online retailer goes through a slump, but I'm just wondering what others do to make sure there isn't a technical problem.

Agreed. Seems like sales track the drop in temperature. August is crickets around here.

October is actually not always big for me - we are in the luxury yarn business, not the regular yarn business, so I think the regular crafting think kind of skips us in general - however, the holidays rock. My worst months this year were after mayday. It's been building back ever since tho -fingers crossed.

That's a good idea, but I would not know how to do it.

I have 2 Paypal accounts, so I can by something from myself for $1.00

I use the Paypal cart at the moment, till I get sales really going.

Unfortunately you cannot test this using paypal, you have to use the credit card option and use a credit card that is not affiliated with your paypal account to go thru the entire checkout process.
