Exchange rate programs

A client of us needs an exchange rate program or software that he can install on his server in which he can convert currencies for particular dates.

For instance: The customer logs in to his account and sees his balance in dollars for a particular date, but wants to see it in Euros as well for that same date, meaning the actual exchange rate would be useless for that particular date.

Hope you all understand what I mean. We have used Oanda for years, but it seems they no longer allow it to automatically capture it from their system on a daily basis.

I have looked into XE.com, but I am not sure if they offer the service we are looking for.

Anyone any thoughts?

Most of them are pay services. Exchange rates are only estimates on what the customer is going to get charge. Banks will charge the customer based on the day the credit card transaction clears, and this could be out by 1 or 2%
plus the credit card companies charge from 1 to 3% ontop of this

For most stable currencies, we manually update our table once a month. We only get maybe one or two calls a year on currency related issues regarding a customers credit card.

If you are dealing with a customer from a country with an unstable currency, you probably going to be more woried about fraudlent transactions anyways.

Well, I don't need the processing part, I only need the exchange part. Bank charges and credit card charges do not apply here. It would be better if I just had asked for some exchange rate programs. Now, I only know XE and Oanda, but does anyone else use a different website/program, where you can also exchange rates for particular dates?
