Hi Guys
I have a website with a very basic Paypal shopping Cart.

I just wanted to do a quick test to make sure it works.

But when I went to the Paypal website to set up a sandbox test facility it is a mind boggling minefield.

They wanted me to set up a new account, OK, then a new password, then another account name was given to me with another password !

That means I now have 3 Paypal accounts !

After all that I could not work it.

Does anyone one know of an easier way to test ones cart.

I had thought of asking someone with a Paypal account to pretend to buy something from my site. My products are $10.00. Could they over-ride that and pay me say $1.00 ?

(I must admit that all of Paypals website seems very overpowering and not very user friendly)
Although their cart is fairly easy to set up once you know how.

The "other account" you mentioned is probably the login to the developer sandbox and it's a good idea that it's away from the live site.

The solution is fairly simple, though you'd have to mod the code a little bit. Temporarily set the price to .01 from your site, test the transaction live, log in your your PP account to check it. Actually you don't even need to do that, you can just test it then go in and refuse/decline the payment.
