I was wondering if there was any way to link two pay pal accounts to one website. I share a business with my brother and was hoping the products that are his that "the buy now" button on his products can go to his account and the same with products that are mine, but still only have one total check out? I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Hi recordjnky, first of all Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Your message makes sense :) Technically it should be possible to link two paypal accounts to your checkout process, but you may have to change the checkout script code to do exactly what you want. But the problem I can see is when people want to buy two items, one associated with your account and the other associated with your brother's. I don't think it is easily possible to split the checkout process over two paypal accounts with the buyer only paying once the whole sum.

Thank you. I don't know a lot about computers or the website itself. I am just trying to get ideas of what is an easy way to keep our earnings separated and track of whose stuff sold before I hire someone to do it, or if it is even possible.
if the two pay pal accounts are not going to work, Is there a way I can add something to the website that makes a report of what sold that day...I know pay pal somewhat does that but it doesn't give a report of what the product was just how much the payment was. Thanks again.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

The buttons have code behind them that identifies the account the user will be putting money into so if when you're adding your buy now buttons, be sure you each use buttons generated by your own account (just follow PayPal's merchant area within your account: [paypal.com...]
