Just been looking at an ecommerce store their prices have a tag line next to it e.g '£5.99 delivered'.

I thought that was great, I know you dont get free shipping so that turns me off sometimes (suspecting its built in to the price), the thing here was that I knew in advance of me buying it exactly how much the item was going to cost.

Thought it was a simple but highly effective way dealing with the shipping.

Anyone else?

If you buy more than one item, does it keep a running tab of what everything cost delivered?

I've always had 'Free delivery' in the top right hand corner, so people can see it, and my prices are always "£5.99 including delivery". I then put on the 'View Basket' page, that 'Delivery is Free on All Orders'.

If a customer is unaware of the delivery cost at this point, I guess they'll never know
