I am looking for a shopping cart software which can meet my requirements

1): I run 3 websites targeting on US, Germany and Japan market, each of them have its own language, currency and payment method
2): They share the same product catalog and inventory

I know Magento can do it
Besides Magento, is there any other software I can consider?

Thank you

Are you talking multiple storefronts or just multiple languages?

You might try looking at Miva Merchant. I know they support the multiple languages, currencies, payment method & multiple stores.

They have a mall feature you might look into too.

There's one version of X-Cart that allows for multiple store fronts with different languages.

I would recommend "ASP dot NET Storefront". It's not open source, but you can purchase the source if you like. This is what I use to run my eCom site. Also has excellent SEO support and good integration with payment gateways, shipping carriers and more.

Do any of these solutions allow each merchant in the mall to have their own online credit card acceptance? Do they have to be on the same gateway, etc.?

I haven't seen v5 of Miva Merchant, but v4 would let you create multiple storefronts with separate payment, shipping, tax, customer records, and order fulfillment. I would think all that is still available in v5.
