Has anyone a suitable envelope/package recommendation for say a pair of jeans
Something along the lines of say C5-padded etc

i would suggest buying some of each then posting the goods to yourself so you can see what packaging works best etc - take a day trip out of town so the goods go on a longer journey - you can then make a decision based on price AND suitability

We use toughened PVC envelopes with self-seal gummed strips. They are virtually tamperproof, waterproof and durable and if its just clothing, you don't actually need padding inside. We have ours made to order but the supplier does them in stock quantities of 500. If they are of interest let me know and I will send a sticky mail of their details.
