Hello everyone. I have been searching online but cannot find what I am looking for.

I would like to offer my customers a credit card with my business name on it. For instance, let's say my business name was XYZ Clothing Co. and I want my customers to apply for a credit card where they can use this card for purchases on my site and make payments to whatever bank issues the credit cards. I already have a merchant account, so that is not what I am asking here. Kind of like a JC Penney or Sears card where the customers can only shop at my store with it.

Search for "branded credit card" and you'll get some results.

I stickied you the link for Visa's co-branded card- it sounds exactly like what you want.

If you go forward with this, please report back and let us know how much it costs- I'd be interested in knowing.

Oops, sorry- I misread your post. People would be able to use a co-branded card elsewhere as well.

What you are looking for is an 'affinity program', where a bank issues a credit card with your brand on it, and you market it to your customers. They usually have a custom rewards program. For instance, 1% cash back on purchases, but 3% cash back on any purchases from your company. Extra incentive for your best customers to sign up. :)

One warning, the credit market is terrible right now. Expect a low credit approval percentage. Banks across the board are tightening up on credit. Some customers may express some resentment for having credit marketed to them that they can't take advantage of.

Thank you my friends! I was searching using the wrong keywords, but I am now learning by using your keywords.

I will come back and let you know what I find out.
