Hello guys,
I have website called <snip>. this website is for arab countries.
I have more than 1.7 million unique visitors every month and more 2.4 million pageview/month (By Google Analytics).

I have Adsense program and Text-Link-Ads also, but the income is so low, specially the Adsense program.

How can i increase my monthly income?
Is there profitable ADS program for this huge visitors?

Thanks a lot.

Marhaba!

The problem you have is a good problem to have. The problem with Adsense is that the ecommerce players in the MENA region are still not developed. So you have a lot of traffic but not many relevant ads to the audience on your site. This leads to low CTR and then low income for you. Also, because the % of web users who buy anything online is very low in the Middle East (no credit cards, lack of logistics across countries, etc.) there is little incentive to use adSense to directly build sales, and again you make little money because of this.

If you take a look at aljazeera you will see that they are directly selling banner ads for branding purposes. For example, national airlines or large brand names in telecommunications or other sectors. These advertisers are not expecting the web surfer to directly buy a plane ticket or a mobile phone on the spot. They are just interested in keeping their name in people's minds, aka for brand strength maintenance. I would recommend that you approach some of these same advertisers and offer to sell them space on your site. I think you will make a lot more money this way rather than relying on Google Adsense or similar. Those solutions work great in a mature and established marketplace with many advertisers and many shoppers, but the demographics of your site are going to require something different. Feel free to private message me if you wish to discuss further, and good luck.

Just to expand on wayzel's post, it may be that the advertisers he describes already work with an online advertising agency. I had such an agency approach me in 2008. They handle some major name clients, and pay according to page views (ECM).

If you research other sites in your niche, you may find some of them running ads through such an agency.

Your natural search traffic and adsense account are in danger of being closed at any time because of the TLA.

I'd remove TLA, and add something like Chitika or Kontera (or both) for starters. Add a few adsense locations and seek direct sponsors to replace the adsense with.

Congrats on solving the traffic problem before the monetizing problem, most sites suffer the opposite problem.

Thnaks you guys :-)
Wayzel, you are right, where can i search agencies with direct ads ?

MrHard, as Wayzel said (no credit cards, lack of logistics across countries, etc.) affiliate program can't do the job (i tried some affiliate), not working.

JS_Harris, My TLA income is more than 55% from all general income, i can't cancel it.

I rad a lot of Adsense & MENA region, i relly we suffer from low prices. big problem that google have to slove.

Again, Thanks you guys.
