I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or opinions. I am fully aware of how bad for business penalties from Google are. Having said this, I don't want to be in a situation where I may be doing something unethical.

I have various sites, perhaps 4, which cover similar but not the same products. I am looking to launch a shopping cart site, only with shopping from my own country. So, people from my own country who were visiting one of those 4 sites would have the option to visit my actual store. I would have a shop at country link for example.

I don't care about ranking on my shopping cart site. So, if I use no follow links, and remove/block bots from indexing my shopping cart site, is that ethical? Am I doing anything wrong with this?

I am extremely cautious in terms of ethical practices. This setup makes sense for my traffic volumes coming from my own country.

In a sense, the main sites find the traffic, and people visiting those sites can click a link to the shopping cart site. I hope this makes sense. I guess I'm wondering if no follow and blocking bots will demonstrate that I'm not attempting a manipulation of some sort.

Thanks for any help on this scenario.

I hope I understood you correctly.

The website with its own checkout page is more credible to SE.

I would set up simple checkout page or shopping cart on each website with the indication to your visitors that this is checkout page for your country only and show them links to checkout pages for other countries.

For SEO you may want each checkout page to be indexed, especially if they include the description of your product(s) with keywords.
