Going over the USPS max size

I lost about a dozen sales to Australia last year due to the max length to there being 42" instead of the 60" limit all of Europe has. Has anyone ever tried going over the size limit and had it get there? I'm tempted just to try and see what happens.

you can give it a try but I will tell ya this you may not like the added charges you will get added on to the delivery...

Well, if you're over the max size, they'll just send it back. But it's probably not a good idea anyway. I see they added the size requirements for the international ones now on the site, so it would be blatantly lying. Before you could at least claim ignorance.
