I accept the majority of payments via PayPal since I have integrated IPN into the system, the payer can immediately see their payment applied to their balance.
I would like to somehow download all this data into an application package so that I can have all the nice statistics/aging/etc... that these packages offer.
In addition I would like to start collecting the smaller payments via check/money order since PayPal really destroy any money made by the fees they collect on each transaction. have quite a bit of lost income due to commission balances under 2.00
Ideally I would like to import all the data from my database into some accounting package and then have that send out paypal invoices for anything over 2.00 and check/money order invoices for anything under 2.00
I also have quite a few other applications that I am mostly taking care of with PayPal (invoices, recurring subscriptions, etc...)
Is this possible with any of the accounting packages currently out there? Or am I just going to have to create my own custom software?
As for sending email invoices with PayPal, how about QuickBooks? If you have QuickBooks Premier, then this QuickBooks Wizard [paypal.com] plug-in might be helpful. Or you could just use the Outlook or Outlook Express Wizard [paypal.com].
