McAfee & Verisign vs. Comodo

We've had SSL & EVSSL with Verisign and McAfee's Hackersafe (originally Scanalert) security seal for what seems forever. We also use McAfee for PCI compliance scanning. I can't really complain about any of these except for of course the price.

We're coming up on renewal for both and I'm getting the full court press from Comodo, I'm very tempted to go with them. They're coming in at about 20% of the price of the other two combined. I'm not really worried about moving the EVSSL to them, I don't think most consumers have a clue of Verisign vs. Comodo but the PCI scanning has me a bit out of my comfort zone.

Does anyone have any opinions on their PCI scanning product or anything else in this situation?

Thanks

Here is my opinion. I use COMODO for ssl and I use EVSSL. There is something different in their certificates that make it harder to install. I truly have no clue what it is, but i've had two hosts that had lots of trouble with it. My current host had no issues but I believe they dealt with them before.

I've not used COMODO for pci, I too use Mcafee.

We used to also use McAfee and Verisign, we've switched to Comodo for both, save a ton of money and our conversion rate has gone up. Wise move, highly suggested!
