possible to tweak ECommerce Templates?

Would like to add images and back links to shopping cart page

Hi,

I've seen several positive recommendations on this forum for Ecommerce Templates. The price is good, and I do use Dreamweaver.

My question is: is it possible to add product links to the shopping cart page? Is it possible to show the cost of shipping early on in the process? Is it possible to show a progress indicator showing how far along the customer is in the checkout process?

On the live sites I previewed, the cart did not offer any back links or photos of the items selected. And the shipping didn't appear until three steps in to the checkout process.

If not Ecommerce Templates, is there another cart you'd recommend that does these functions?

Whoops, I forgot one other criteria. I would like the cart to integrate well with either Quickbooks or Goldmine.

Paul, yes you can add product links to the shopping cart page. Some site owners have added shipping calculators to their site however I believe this is going to be a part of the next release and a mod/add-on won't be necessary. You can show progress or step numbers on the cart pages. There are add-ons to show a image of the item selected in the cart. There has been a quickbooks intergration mod developed by an outside developer.

One last thing all the features you are looking for are good to have and there are many sites that have them in the bottom of the search engine pile, one of the best features that ecommerce templates offer is it's search engine friendly. Should you have more question visit their support forum they are receptive to pre-sales questions.

Also, if there's not something already made for Ecommerce Templates that you can use for your application, there are a few coders that can make you a custom mod for fairly cheap.
