I am building a site for someone who wants to sell t-shirts online (like everyone else in the world!). I am looking for an shopping cart application that will allow a user to upload a file (so they can customize the t-shirt). Has anyone heard of one like this?

Thanks.

I am looking for a similar thing as well. Not for T-Shirts, but the concept is the same.

In ZenCart when you place your order there is a section for a message. What about instructing your clients to place their custom t-shirt text in the message section of the order?

Make-A-Store has a "print shop" module that does just that I believe.

PrintNexus is one that I found through searching for "print shop e-commerce" on Google.

Another tactic is to see if you can work out what other sites that offer a similar service use. And if you can't work it out and they aren't in a competing market to you its always worth asking them :)

I wish it was that easy :), but the customers need to upload an image.

But Make-A-Store looks good, but the module is $2995.00 besides the cost of the cart itself (min $2995.00). So together it is at least $6,000 which is totally out of my range.

I developed something like this before, but it was a sign generator. People could choose generic pre-made signs, or they could upload their own graphic and customize it on screen. After they were done, the high-res image was dynamically generated and stored in a directory for the client's print department to work with.

I doubt you will find a premade solution that would do everything you need. It's more of a custom job IMHO.

Just wanted to make sure that I will not reinvent the wheel :)

I just talked to Make-A-Store. Since all I want is to upload the files, but I don't care about all the re-imaging or other stuff they do that comes with the add-on they have, they are only going to charge me $260 for the customization. It's worth calling them and asking.

I would personally go to the zen cart or oscommerce forums, post a message asking someone to do it. I suspect it'll be a few $100 tops.
