Best software for e-commerce

I currently have a website host who has plesk sitebuilder for software. With this software, there is no ability to have say "scrolling font for specials", it is very slow with updating my products and does not offer good shopping cart features. I have a free e-commerce site that offers the shopping cart features but I cannot customize the way I would like it. I thought that designing my own website in say Dreamweaver CS4 would solve the problem but have read some articles stating that shopping carts in Dreamweaver are sometimes troublesome. Does anyone have a recommendation a a good e-commerce software that I can upload to my hosting server that has the following features:
Fonts that flash or scroll for specials of the month
Ability to have all payment criteria, paypal, visa, mc, google checkout etc.
Ease of use in updating and adding new products
Ability to integrate code on my pages for widgets, Google adsense, etc.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Most of the e-commerce carts that are free or purchased for install on your own server can do what you're asking for. Here are some of the many threads that have asked this very same question [google.com].

The only odd piece of what you're asking for (and I doubt you'll find it as a default function of any cart) is the scrolling specials of the month. Most of the carts available come with a solid basic setup that's customizable. In fact, they expect you to customize the cart to fit your needs and look the way you want it to look.
