X-Cart problem

Edit "Powered by X-Cart" in footer

I have had a nightmare with this.
Instead of "Powered by X-Cart" in the footer (prnotice.tpl), I would like:

Site by "myCompany" with a corresponding hyperlink...
I have managed to achieve this, but only in the admin section - on the storefront section, the wording is underlined to denote a link, but there is simply no link there!

I am using version 4.2.2 Pro.
