I received a new IP from my hosting company. Do I now need to redirect my DNS to this address?
Currently there are two servers (two separate IP's) hosting my site.
Also, I can access my site at "http://www.mysite.com" (but no secure lock icon appears); however, if I type "https://www.mysite.com" then the icon appears.
How do I setup my site so that the user can type "http://www.mysite.com" and see the secure icon?
Sorry - I'm new to the SSL world. Thanks!
I just have http://www.mysite.com pointing to exactly the same files and folders as [mysite.com,...] you can then direct the user between secure and non-secure easily. YOu also then only have one set of pages and images to maintain.
For more detailed help it might be better if you posted the question on one of the technical forums.

I sorted out the HTTP vs HTTPS issue. I am using osCommerce and just had to modify the configuration files to reference the proper site paths.
The main issue is that I had the old site running on one IP address and was given a new IP address when I purchased the dedicated SSL. So now there are two IP addresses pointing to the same conetnt.
The SSL email came with new name server info...so I guess I just update this with my domain registry (i.e. godaddy.com), right?
