What the heck is up with PayPal these days?

I've always supported PayPal over the years, even when many other people bashed them. But lately it seems like the ebay people are determined to screw up PP as bad as they've screwed up eBay.

The first bad move was to start making it harder for people who try to make payment using a different card or under a different email address than the one they're on.

Twice I've contacted them and asked why line items on itemized payment request invoices just show up as N/A, N/A, N/A on the packing slips. I have to add what they ordered in the 'notes' portion on the bottom, which is retarded. Their first response was the usual 'I didn't bother to even read your complaint' response, then the second response basically just blew me off. Then they had the nerve to send me a questionnaire email to see how I felt about the support.

The other day I sold something personal on eBay, which I haven't done in a while. And even though I run thousands of dollars through my PP account and have never had an issue, they put a 21 day hold on the payment for the ebay items, even after I entered the delivery confirmation. Meanwhile the guy who bought the stuff has it in his hands three days after payment.

Now they start this new thing where there's hardly any info at all on payment email for invoice requests that were paid. No shipping address, no nothing. I had an eCheck payment that had no address info on either the first notice or final 'payment cleared' notice... I had no idea who it was or what I was supposed to be sending them. It took me 10 minutes to log on and step back through all the transactions, just to figure out what it was that was being paid for.

This is their idea of progress?

I haven't even checked out the new design yet, but I'm sure that will be a CF as well. It's like they've got a bunch of people working for them that go around making changes all day just for the sake of changing something, so they can justify their jobs.

Well, it's a shame it has to come to that. I just don't understand what it is with these companies now days that almost seem to have a death wish. It's like they get together and have a meetings and go; 'Hey... What stuff can we do to tick off our customers as much as possible'. The part I love the most is the eBay thing... The guy that bought my stuff had a whopping 3 transactions on eBay. I have thousands of transactions on PP. He gets his stuff in three days, I get my money in 21 days. What a deal.
