The question you present is overly vague, so don't expect anything too specific out of this thread.

What is the state of your current sales ratio? Is your price point reasonable? Is your site unser friendly? What are your general marketing methods?

For starters, does your site answer these three questions effectively?

Why should they buy your product? (based on your products solving their problems and not just because it would benefit you for them to do so)

Why should they buy it from you? (what about your offer or your reputation makes it more beneficial for them to buy it from you than from somebody else?)

And why should they buy it from you NOW? (what is it that makes it beneficial to them to buy it now instead of putting it off for a later time?)

As you can see, an important element of all three is that they need reasons why it's beneficial to them to take the action you want them to take.

If any of those questions are not being answered on your website to the satisfaction of your customers, conversions will lag. Focusing relentlessly on benefits in answering each of these questions can significantly improve conversions.

conversion rate is very low..i think visitors are targetted since site is first page on google for its main terms..also, it seems that most of the visitors stays only for 3-5 secs..is this has something to do with the layout design?

I've just looked at your site - that front page is soooo busy - I have no idea what you are selling, the menu on the left is not prominent enough and all those boxes of text are overwhelming.

My advice would be to make your front page (didn't look any futher) much simpler so customers know what you are selling and have an easy way to find it.
