For merchants on amazon: if you refund a product or partially refund it, does Amazn also refund proportional transaction fees like PayPal does?

True. How would this work though, so I can adjust my quickbooks? I refunded all of the order except $2.98 in shipping. Where can I find more information on this?

Not true. Amazon does keep some of the fee:
"When reimbursing you for a customer refund, Amazon Services retains 20% of the original order-related-fees, up to a maximum of $5, for each line item in the refund."
