I would like to use WordPress for an ecommerce shopping cart.
I have come across the following plugins / themes:

Market Theme
Ecommerce Theme
Shopp
Can anyone recommend any of these? Any to definitely stay away from? Any others to check out?

Can't comment on the ecommerce plugins other than to say I've heard they are limited in ability.

We tried some and were unimpressed with the usability. With one of them , a user couldnt tell when they had added something to the cart. In a trial, I was surprised to find I had pushed "add to cart" 20 times without knowing that it had worked. Your mileage may vary, of course. Try them and see.

My offer is use that software which is created for e-commerce, not some plugins which adds functionality. Try to look in mageneto (very good), joomla with its addon, OsCommerce
