URL question for ecommerce webstore

I have an ecommerce website which has been in existence for about 5 years. The url is examplewidgetOutlet.com, It is the second organic listing in google for the keyword 'examplewidget'.

I want to change the url to examplewidgetWorld.com but I am concerned about how it will negatively effect my second placement in the organic rankings. Is there a way to guarantee my high placement in the organic rankings if I change the url to examplewidgetWorld.com ?

"301 Moved Permanently" should do the trick pretty reliably.
