Our organization is thinking of doing an online raffle, both PayPal and 2checkout do not allow funds raising from raffle to be processed through their system, We are not a non profit org. what are the options for online payment gateway that allow raffle tickets sales and has a reasonable fees structure?

thanks!

You can set yourself up as a seasonal charitable institution to accept donations through credit card.

With a seasonal account you can "turn off" your service month to month and avoid minimum fees. As a charity you can qualify for lower interchange rates as well.

Raffle tickets are pretty high risk though so getting approved for that particular fund raising event may prove to be difficult. If you are selling tickets to an event and want to accept donations and tickets via credit card it may be easier to get you approved.

Hope this helps.

Since you are based in Spain it may prove more difficult to set you up under a non-profit/charitable organization. I honestly wouldn't know where to send you for a non-profit, overseas account. Your best bet is to set it up under a high risk processor but then your fees could be as high at 10%.

I find your case to be very interesting so please let us know if you make any progress with this.
