I would like to make a CD available online, but without the CD being downloadable by just anybody who figures out a direct link. At present, I don't have enough "business" to justify the cost of a merchant account and my own Verisign certificate. So I would like to have some outside service handle the order-taking, payment-processing, and software-serving for me.

If I were to use Amazon's service, I would have to raise the per-unit price to cover their fees, though only marginally. I've heard of Digital River (having placed orders through them myself), but I can't find pricing information on their site...? WorldPay looks to be beyond my means at the moment.

I would appreciate the voice of experience, along with any helpful URLs, etc.
