PayPal and adult content

Split my directory in two

I have a large general directory and I use PayPal for listing payment.

Recently, PayPal objected to pages in my site that linked to adult sites. I remove all such pages and created a new "adult" directory from them.

What alternatives are there to PayPal that would not have a problem with this service?

BTW no pictures on this adult directory. Just plain old links.

Thanks.

Most processors will have a problem unless they are specifically allowed to process money for websites with adult content on them. Links can actually sometimes be worse than the actually content because those links could potentially go to kiddie porn etc.

Depending on where you are & what you need, some processors in the United States might accept your business model. They might require though Visa / MasterCard registration fees though. These fees are usually only required by North American (United States) acquiring banks. Most acquiring banks overseas do not have these fees (yet)

There are payment processor that specifically welcome adult content.
If you have an adult directory, I'd gues you would have already saw them.
One of those is IBill, there's other big one, but I don't recall the exact name.
Take 20 minutes to find good porn sites and go to their signup places, you'll find those companies.

Whatever you do - do not even consider iBill. They still owe hundreds of thousands of dollars to merchants.

Interesting about iBill. We have friends who just got kicked out of a cc processor, so they went to iBill. They charge 15% per transaction? Yikes.
