Would love some advice -
I have two companies bidding for my business.
Vantage Card Services - .05% above interchange + $.10 per transaction
EMerchantDiscount.com - .08% above interchange + $.10 per transaction
I am currently using USAEpay.com as a gateway, but am looking at Authorize.net also.

Things I would like to know
1. Does anyone have any experience with these two companies?
2. What does everyone think about the rates?
3. Is there anything else I should consider before choosing which company I go with?
4. Which gateway is better (fees, service, user-friendly)?

Thanks for your help

One thing when choose a merchant account provider in the United States is to look at the footer. It has to tell you if they are an ISO/MSP or an agent of an ISO/MSP. If these are not there, something's fishy about them.

If you are a member of Costco / Sam's Club, check out their rates.

With the gateway, most provide pretty much the same - some charge you a flat fee, while some might give you a few transactions free and then charge you, some might charge you a flat rate, and some might charge you a percentage. It is up to you to see what more might have what you need.
