I am working on a website that currently uses paypal and paypals shopping cart for online orders, The owners want to alter this so that the customers will have a choice of paypal or their merchant bank account (visa mastercard support) to pay money into.
Now I know very little about paypal, but the websites shopping cart is paypals so obviously I can't give customers the option to pay into the merchant bank acc from this,
how should I change this
obviously I need to replace the existing shopping cart
- most of the scripts out there do too much, by this I mean I have a background db already set up, and most of the shopping carts want to set everything up
all I need the shopping cart to do is take the
product ID, product title, price, quantity and shipping
add them all up and then give me the option of using paypal or the merchant bank account to pay for the products and obviously e-mail the order to me
I hope this makes sense to someone
Thanks
Nigel
most of the things which you mentioned here do make sense and there are other options than paypal for you. and I'll recommend you to go and see b2bparadise as i think it'll easily provide you the cart with the features you are looking for. Its a nice hosted shopping cart option, and will be in your budget too. There are options of paypal, visa, mastercard and others in it as well. Have a look at it and see if it suits your needs.
Good Luck for your venture.
