he has olny had a few clients who we(i guess i work there) keep in good touch with, evan on issues not concering security. there was a hope that word of mouth would expand the client base, but it dosen't seem to be

hi biasecurity and welcome to WebmasterWorld

you've come to the right site to learn everything you need to know. stick around, do a lot of reading and you'll learn a vast amount of useful information. it'll be well worthwhile.

i'm going to suggest you start by looking at Brett Tabke's 26 steps to a successful site in Google - it's an excellent guide covering all the basics for your site.

then go to the various search engine forums as listed under [webmasterworld.com...]
this is where you learn how to get listed on each engine, how to optimise your site for them, which pay per click sites to use and why to use them and so on.

take your time and be patient because optimisation and promotion takes a long time. if you need results in a hurry, try the pay per click services first.

You will need to do your homework in that area.
internet security - 21867 searches done in June 2002
And you will be playing with the BIG GUNS @ $2.00 +/-

1) Hack into a potential client's network
2) Change the Windows desktops of the IT manager, CEO, etc. to an ad for the security firm.
3) Client will either call to sign up or send the FBI...
