£30 a year for domain transfer/registration?

hi - one of my cart's (two in all) is presently using a 'masked' domain.

my shopping cart provider charges £30/yr for a domain transfer.

i already have transferred one domain to them for the other cart.

i'm thinking this is a bit steep - any comments?

stoutfiles - thanks for your reply - i would prefer not to name the company.

the cart host doesn't allow use of their nameservers & say the amount for domain transfer is justified due to 'potential' bandwidth usage.

i pay £20/mth each for my 2 carts so maybe 'overall' it is a fair deal?

They are providing hosting, proprietary cart software and support, at £30 a year? Underpriced. You are getting a good deal.

I think Stout was asking (a) or (b), not the name of the company. The title does not match the content of your post. Domain 'hosting' and Domain 'transfer' are two very different things, so we're not sure what you're asking.
