Do you ship UPS? You'd better check this out!

I wasn't sure about this but last week the savings posted to my account so I can confirm it works.

VISA SavingsEdge

If you have a business visa check card (or credit cart) and you ship UPS you will get 5% back on all your charges (paid by your visa card).

If you ship UPS a lot (like me - I ship only ups) that's some serious savings, hence the reason I'm posting this.

Hope it helps!

I have Weekly Pickup and receive a discount on the Daily Rate. Is this 5% off Retail Counter rate?

It's not just for retail rates, I have daily pickup so I receive the daily pickup rates and I get 5% back.

I'm not sure where negotiated rates fall though

Can you pay your weekly UPS bill with a credit card? I do not think UPS allows credit card payments to pay your bill.

Right. So, does this mean one has to print shipping labels from the UPS web site and pay each time by credit card? While I like the 5% discount, I sort of like the integration with UPS WorldShip better...?

No no not at all, sorry for being confusing.

I use UPS Worldship and I have a daily pickup account.

My business check card is on file and the shipping charges are automatically deducted each week from UPS. Then 2-4 weeks later I get 5% of that amount deposited to my business bank account from VISA Savings Edge

From UPS.com:

"Credit Card: You can arrange to have payment automatically debited from a credit card. Credit cards accepted include American Express®, Discover® Card, MasterCard® and VISA®. Credit cards can only be used to pay for shipping costs and cannot be used to pay duties and taxes."

I use a UPS Visa issued through Chase. It pays the visa bill each week, gives me a 3% discount and another 30 days to pay the bill.

UPS will be happy to put a visa number on file for you. You can get airmiles, cash back or whatever you your card gives for a bonus. You can also avoid their 5% late fees that they charge after 21 days.

Visa Savings Edge

1000 cap per calender year

UPS customers that ship in excess of $50,000 are not eligible

Expires Dec 31, 2008

...still worth a few bucks for some, though.
