Please tell me how to use it effectively? Any documentation?
I added 2 keywords on my index file but through SEO rank checker, google didnt returned any rank of the keywords. Why so?

Hm.. that sounds more like an SEO question. How long ago did you add the keywords? Are they viable keywords? How much competition is there for them? Have you done your homework and reviewed/rebuilt the code and worked on acquiring backlinks?
