I have a client who is wanting to take online payments from an online store i am setting up. he already has a merchant account and can take credit card payments. What options are there for setting up online payments using the same merchant account?
i'm looking at using zen cart for the online shop.

It all depends on the MAP. Most will have you get an internet merchant account because the discount rate is usually a bit more depending on the location.
Have your client contact his MAP to see what they can offer
