Best alternative to PayPal for Canadians

I am in the US, but a client of mine is in Canada and is having issues with PayPal. So, I was wondering what the best alternative to PayPal would be for them.

The want to send me a payment for a website.

I did some research and found two possible alternatives, but they had mixed reviews:

MoneyBookers
AlertPay - had less bad reviews than MoneyBookers

Has anyone had any experience with either of those two companies? If so, how long have you been using them, and what kind of experience have you had? Would you recommend them?

Any other services that you would recommend for Canadians to send/receive money via email?

I'm from Canada. I use PayPal but have used BidPay in the past. I think Western Union might work too (wire transfer). If it's a one-time thing you could also do a bank-wire or tell the guy to write you a cheque.
