Lack of conversions on a new design business website

what might be the problem?

I run a widget design business and it has been getting about two customers per day for about a month (it's new) but I have had NO customers whatsoever now for one week.

I am trying to find a reason as to why I have stopped getting customers even though my hits have been steadily rising.

Most of my hits come from google for keywords in my market space and the rest from links from other related sites and adwords.

Does anybody have any idea as to what the cause might be?
