Does anyone know or know where I can find estimates about the click-through rates of price comparison sites. We're planning to include a price comparison feature in a new website and, assuming that our site receives traffic (we think the its other features will be compelling & unique), we would like to estimate what percent of that traffic we can expect to actually click through? I do understand that click-through rates & cost per click vary by product category as well as site quality etc.
TIA
I myself don't use them and won't use them due to the naturre of the beast.
Anyway, do you think I should re-post in the Website Analytics forum?

You're in the right forum.
Re: clickthru rates. I am not aware of any data and I believe you won't find any. There may be some out there but I'd seriously question it's worth. Any of these sites will likely keep that information closely guarded. What you can do is to ask one of these sites for a trial run with stats before you commit.
