Hi Guys,

Until recently I only had pure information sites. They are generating a good amount of money, but I want to diversify my income by building a few shopping malls.

I don't want to reinvent the weel so I'm looking for the best CMS (with a lot of attention to SEO!) for shopping malls. I'm planning to build a first site in about a month with about 10,000 products. The CMS has to produce flexible, dynamic pages with the help of php and mysql.

Thx,
Turbo

Have you looked into OSComerce?
It might be a good place to start.

X-cart look good, but it's kind of pricey :-/

I have found that spending money on shopping can be pricey also. But in the long run it has been well worth the money. You can make some small changes to the shopping cart out of the box and it is good to go for SEO. Personally there is enough to do with a e-commerce web site with having to worry about developing a shopping cart.

Oscommerce is also another option
