When will Canada get Paypal Payments Pro?

What exactly is the big issue with Paypal Payments Pro (supporting the US and UK only for since forever) and Google Checkout (US only).

Canada should not be so much of a stretch to support, and I would consider it a more likely candidate then the UK for 'beta' transaction due to free trade, closer financial institutions ties, etc.

Seriously, we want to move forward ahead from typical Paypal payment solutions to something more professional yet not a complete merch solution, but I feel like CDN is getting the short end of the stick. Someone, tell me why Canada is getting left out! :)

I've been wondering the same, myself! Google checkout also gives us the boot, while letting USA & UK reap the rewards.

Why would you want it? We used it and it was so unreliable, we had to stop. They time out, sometimes the service goes down for hours without explanation. We have since switched to authorize.net and been very happy.
