HSBC 3DSecure problem

Hi - has anyone experienced problems (since Saturday 31st May) with HSBC's 3DSecure verification system? (Specifically: online customer using HSBC-issued card posts card data, payment gateway returns "unable to verify" response, so ACS page redirection doesn't happen).

Our payment gateway provider, DataCash, tell us they've escalated the problem with HSBC but haven't had an ETA on a fix yet. I'd be interested to know if it's a very widespread problem, and if so, has anyone had any luck finding out any more?

Cheers
Paul

I don't think we've had any problems with it, plenty of other problems with 3D Secure but I haven't had any complaints specifically about HSBC cards so far.

Ironically we seem to be having this problem now - mainly HSBC Maestro cards. No further info as yet though.

Doesn't seem to be affecting us now - plenty of OK HSBC transactions today. Last time, it was resolved after 3 days with zero explanation/communication from DataCash - I hope you have better luck with a resolution.

Thanks Paul. We've had so many issues with 3D Secure, it's a right pain, but it's starting to settle now and it does add a little bit of extra security I suppose.
