Question about Yahoo Merchant > Store Manager > Order

Looking for information on "Entry Point" and "Referrer"

When you are in the store manager and looking at an order, there are fields for "Entry Point" and "Referrer". Does anyone know where Yahoo gets the data to put into these fields?

From what I have seen, yahoo track users via cookies and records the data by server/store and yahoo sorts the data when you access your specific store data.

The data is not stored and retrieved very well and you will see other yahoo store's data in your account that shares the same server as your store.

Thanks for the response. You answered my next question before I was able to ask it :) One of the orders we got has an "Entry Point" that references a website that is not ours, I've never heard of it and the products they sell are in no way related to the products we sell. However, one thing I noticed is that it too is a Yahoo store.

Also, the "Referrer" shows search terms that don't exist on our site, however they directly relate to the site that is said to be the "Entry Point".
