Shopping Cart Suggestion? / Affiliates

Hi,
My general want is that I would like to be able to offer other people's products from my site. Next thing, I would like to be able to get something for doing so. I thought about treating them as affiliates (and leave me a percentage of the actual sale and give them the bigger chunk). It would be great if I had a way of creating a system they can upload their products into individual sections with their info and deduct commission of all their sales towards us but I was told I would have to write my own system to do that. So, with that, any suggestions on what I could look at? Is there a shopping cart system that can do affiliates as that might be the way around the second option? Any advice much appreciated.

This requires custom coding. I gues you might take some ready-made shopping cart system and pay the vendor for developing that particular feature. I recently searched for a nice cart and found Avactis - looks pretty good. People didn't give me any recommendations here at the forum, but still I like the demo version, so I think I can recommend it to you. I think its vendor, Pentasoft, can add the feature you need :)

1shoppingcart.com includes an affiliate system. Also has extensive marketing & tracking tools. It's meant to work the other way round though. You have products that your affiliates sell.
