I am incorporated here in the UK (CompanyName Ltd.) and would like to use the company bank account to handle incoming payments from any possible sales of the ebook.
But this means the company name (CompanyName Ltd.) would show when a customer bought the item. Seeing as the company is registered to my family home (where my parents also live). A simple search on google for my company name, reveals my company and hence residential address - not something I want, as I do not own the house.
However, if I use my personal name for the clickbank registration, the incoming money would come to my personal bank account, which would complicate matters of company taxes etc.
What is the way to do this please?
Thanks,
Gav
Law requires you to reveal a vast number of information to your customer.
This includes:
- your business' name, place of registration, registered office address
-details of any publicly available register in which you are entered, together with your registration number
- supervisory body if the service is subject to an authorisation scheme
- your VAT registration number
and several other things.

There is not such a thing as sellers privacy, at least not if you are a European Union resident. After all a customer must be able to sue you if something goes wrong when doing business with you. And he can only do that if he knows your physical address.
I do not know how clickbank works in detail- if you are the contracting party or clickbank. However even if you are not the contracting party you still need a promotional website where you would be required by law to provide all the information above in a "contact" or "about us" section.
However, many sellers on the site have no contact us details and their whois information is private. I do not know whether they register as private sellers or companies under the clickbank rules (they can choose either).
Does anyone know if this is possible?
