Dear guys

I'm an Iranian citizen. It's a long time that I have some ideas for starting a small online business but I cna not start it because most of card processing companies refuse to keep accounts from Iranians.

I had found some european based companies which accept Iranians but most of them requiring merchant accounts in UK banks which costs alot to me.

Can any person Introduce me to some realyable non US based card processing companies which accept iraninans with low costs?

tahnks in advance.

Do Iranians even carry credit cards?

I can't really help you but I am curious. Seems to me that if you can get around these issues that you would have a real head start against your competition.

Since most cards in the world and most merchant accounts are issued by banks that are involved with the US and UK banking markets, I imagine it will be very difficult to find a bank who will even get involved unless there are hefty deposits or collateral due to UN sanctions placed on Iran.

Thanks guys

Regularly iranians don't use credit cards, but It's possible to obtain it legally. And we can have bank accounts aboroad(somewhere like Turky), smaller banks work with Iranian banks. The problem is card processing companies.

I wish I could find a froum where many card processing companies are there and they could answer if any of them likes to think about this businnes or not.
