Ecommerce with a way to reserve a product?

Need a simple solution that accepts a downpayment.

I am in need of a program to let me sell items on my website. Each item is unique therefore most of the store software packages out there are not really sufficient because:

1. They require so much detail for each item and
2. Are made for items where you carry stock or inventory for the items you sell.

But in addition to the standard stuff he has there on that site, I want to let my customers put a downpayment on a product to reserve it. Letting someone reserve a product is important because most people will pick it up at a show or come by the house. Also this let's people hold the item for 20% payment and pick the item up later when then have the rest of the money.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Store / Classified Software that is Simple to use, lets me accept downpayments or reservation deposits and integrates with Paypal? Something like the one above would be OK if it would let me take reservation deposits of 20%.

There are plenty of simple ecommerce carts out there.

As for the downpayment couldn't you just make the downpayment the price? Show the full price in the product description and then make sure your Terms and Conditions include verbage that makes it clear that the price shown is only a downpayment and that full payment is expected upon delivery - or some such.
