You might try another methods, suitable for your business.
Just make sure:
- you can measure ROI (even if approximately only)
- you can afford if this advertising method brings you exact zero sales
Then you can say "that's the perfect method for me", or "damn, I spent $2,000 for that AD and no single sale!"
Just bear in mind -- some ADs (like printed in journals) require persistent appearance (i.e. CAMPAIGN) to become effective.
