2checkout - support any better?

Hi,

I've read many threads that seem to have one thing in common about their feedback on 2Checkout - support is not great. Although many of these threads were pretty old so I thought I'd ask if support has improved?

I am thinking of migrating to 2Checkout and have some concerns:
1) Support better now?
2) Can I customize and put my logo on 2Checkout?
3) Heard about some payment held up. Are they 100% reliable?
4) I see they now use Paypal. Does that mean I have to pay 2Checkout's transaction fees and also PayPal's transaction fees if my customer chooses to use Paypal at 2Checkout?
5) Heard there were a few DOS last year. Any count on how many in total?

Thanks

I wouldn't recommend them unless they're your last ditch effort. Price alone even beyond those problems is scary.

I had a little problem, and discussed it here in webmasterworld [webmasterworld.com].

Back in 2003 they were awful truly dire, I now no longer have any problem with them.

Does that mean they are ok now in terms of support? I don't know. I sent them an email 2 days ago and have yet to receive a response.

Due to our location we're a bit limited as to which processors we can use.
2Co were quite dire at the start, but seem better now - 4+ Years.
Maybe we have gained some trust points with them, because you have to remember that they will attract a lot of people that are restricted in who they can process orders through that's why they start with them.
As you say, they now accept and actively promote customers using Paypal when they leave our sites to pay ( It looks dreadful and confusing for the customer in their interface)- As I see it , many of 2Co clients cannot use PP due to location,or whatever and so this will open up a new revenue stream for these customers of 2Co as technically people are buying from 2Co in US,so there are no country restrictions.
For us this is not good as we accept PP - we pay higher fees if they use PP with 2Co and we don't get any information as to whether the customer is PP Verified or not - also with 2Co fees for cancellations are not refunded..unlike PP.
