Paypal Payment Standard customizeable for thousands of products?

Hi,

I have a company outside US and want 2 payment options for my website. I am thinking PayPal and 2Checkout. I know 2Checkout works but have some questions on Paypal for my site.

Since I do not have a US company or account, I understand Paypal Payment Pro is not offered. Since I have thousands of products (and a custom shopping cart), it would be impossible for me to setup a payment button for each product as they are dynamically generated. Would I still be able to use Paypal Standard? I don't mind if my customer checkout at PayPal. That's fine by me but can the Paypal standard work?

Maintain a shopping cart on your own site. Do the preliminary checkout (total all items) on your server, and then handoff an order number and total price to PayPal for the final checkout.
